I've produced several enterprise investigative and in-depth stories that translated into policy change and heightened community awareness. In fact, one investigative series led to a long fought for indictment of a police officer following a shooting death. A second led to a firefighter leaving the department after he expressed highly offensive racial comments. My story revealed these statements to the fire chief.

My approach to these stories rests on three tenants: passion, research and a relentless endeavor to dig out the truth. I am never afraid to confront the "powers that be" and speak for those who have been silenced
